Progress? Why yes! | MaeveMadden

Progress? Why yes!

  • I had a massive wobble yesterday (in more ways than one) I felt bloated, demotivated and chunky!
I've been #TeamQueen since April and decided yesterday to weigh myself for the first time since then.

    I hadn't lost a single lb!! 🤯

After a mild breakdown; I decided to try on some holiday clothes from last year (I don't know why I thought this would make me feel better) and realised actually I might not have lost any weight but I have certainly toned up!!! Those pants that were a little snug on my thighs or the dress that I had to stretch the sleeves to get my arms in actually fit and it made me feel so much better.

Just wanted to share in case anyone else was in the same boat as me; going forward I'm definitely going to start measuring instead of getting on the sorry step and I know @Maeve Madden says it all the time but I need to stop comparing my results to others!

    Keep going Queens!!! 👑

  • Thank you, it's always great to hear when other people say their clothes are loser but weight is still the same! Great job!

  • @Caron Moore 100 % forget the scales. It's in my clothes where I first see the difference. There's no nicer feeling than getting into those clothes we contemplated throwing out because they were 2 small. So keep doing what u r doing as it's working. Well done u.

I took my measurements day 1 of challenge didn't bother even weighing myself. Now I put a top or pants that I love & is a bit snug on my in front of me when I'm working out. Just a little bit extra motivation for me. Loopy I know 😂

  • @Audrey Browne I love that idea!! I'll give that a go tomorrow! 😄
