What to eat before a workout? | MaeveMadden

What to eat before a workout?

  • Hi Queens 👑,

Any recommendations on what to eat before a workout?

I normally do the team queen workouts in my lunch break but before I eat my lunch so need a little snack beforehand to keep me going.

  • Hey Lauren, my go to if I'm doing a workout in the morning is a pear or a handful of berries or grapes, I find soft fruits are the only ones I can eat before I workout because others like banana's or apples I find they sit in my belly and it's uncomfortable during a workout xx

  • @Niamh Byrne ah thanks for the advice, yeah I've always found that with bananas and apples too so hence why I've always steer cleared of fruit before a workout. But I will try pears and grapes, which I love anyways x

  • Hi @Lauren Farrar, I tend to have a handful of nuts about 30 mins to an hour before a workout.  I also do the workouts on my lunch break 😊, really wish I could do them live!!

  • @Lauren Farrar I'm the same I would have some fruit.. it's light enough that you won't feel the need to get sick during a tough workout 🤢 🤣
