Best way to clean your mat | MaeveMadden

Best way to clean your mat

  • I don't suppose anyone has tips for the best way to clean your mat? The mat gets pretty sweaty after Team Queen workouts and I have just been using regular surface cleaner and a damp cloth or kitchen roll. Just wanted to check if this is ok or if anyone has any better suggestions. x

  • @Amy Johnston that's good. Mine is the Fiit mat like maeve so what I do is after each workout I spray mine down with a disenfectant spray leave to dry in. Give it a qk hoover. Then  at the weekend I try to hang it out in the fresh air just to give it a nice airing. Finish it off with a hoover to remove an pollen. Fresh as a daisy 🌼.

  • @Amy Johnston hey Amy hope your well, I usually put carpet cleaner on my matt, or an anti bacterial spray like Audrey and leave it to soak, then shower it down.  Always so gross.  I usually clean it once a week sometimes I leave it longer, but then its gross and I let it just air dry which does the job for me

  • @Audrey Browne @Maeve Madden thanks for the advice ladies! Wasn't sure if I was going to ruin my mat with what I'm using at the moment and by washing it too often as I tend to clean it every other day.

  • Ladies I find this spray great for giving my mat a freshen up in between "deep cleans" I guess. I like it because it's more of a mist so doesn't take too long to dry and you don't need too much of it to freshen up the mat

  • @Niamh Byrne Thanks Niamh, I'll look out for it in the shops and give it a try!

  • @Niamh Byrne I absolutely love that stuff. I use it on everything 😂.

  • @Sarah Williams I'm the exact same 😂 the whole entire house gets sprayed with it, and the car 😂 it's great stuff and so handy it doesn't even need to be wiped or anything 🙌🏻

  • @Niamh Byrne lol 😂 just bought it 2day while doing grocery shop. LOVE IT. ❤️
