NAIL TECHS HELP ME!! | MaeveMadden

NAIL TECHS HELP ME!!

  • Hi Ladies,

I just wondered if we have any nail techs on here who could please help me! I am a regular at my nail salon but obviously at the moment I cant go in! I wondered if any could recomend any GEL at home kits that are good but not too expensive because this isn't something that I would be looking at doing long term just in the interim of not being able to get out! I would ask my ususal nail salon but I am scared I would offend/worry them as a couple of regular clients went on to do their own nails after the first two lockdowns and I just don't want to give them the extra stress! Any help is amazing!

    Thank you so much!!

  • @Liz Stevens Hi gorgeous, my friend Ingrid @ingrid_graham1 on ig has some videos to help show yo uhow to remove the gels yourself ... I took mine off then buffed out the nails and applied strengthener

  • Thank you @Maeve Madden - I have luckily taken my gels off from before Christmas. I am trying to work out what is best to put on my nails now to make me feel less rubbish! If that makes sense! Thank you for your suggestion I am going to take a look at her page now too!

  • @Liz Stevens i ordered the gel removal kit from mink.ie

came with 100% acetone, the wraps, orange stick , file and buffer - exactly what I needed- the acetone removes the colour and after that it's just filing down the gel itself - hope that helps.

  • Thank you! I will look into that too!

  • @Liz Stevens  YES to this Queen!! DEFINITELY struggling with out my self care treat atm! Will definitely be joining you on the hunt to removal 🤣 can't wait until we can go back 🙏

  • @Liz Stevens hi liz, I started doing my own at home because I can't deal when my nails are t done! Bought this set which is brill and picked up colours along the way! The nails last for three weeks at least ans are so easy to remove too!

  • @Liz Stevens no problem! Some of the sets don't seem to be good quality but semilac is a hybrid polish so it's very good x
