Skin Queens

  • Good evening queens, i hope everyone is smashing all of their goals this week.

as an acne prone queen who is forever struggling with her skin i would love your girls advice on something, basically i've no idea when i should be washing my face lol i mean do you girls wash your face when you wake up at first or do you wait until after the 9:30 class or even somedays the afternoon classes, do you wash your face twice in the morning or maybe even not at all, I know your really not meant to over wash your face aswell so i dont want to do that either, if any of the queens struggle with this nightmare please do let me know, it would be much appreciated. hope everyone is excited heading into week 5 and has a fab weekend, thanks so much, keep queening ❤️😘 xx

  • @Evie Linnane omg Queen there's so many do & don't about skincare I'm still boggled. Don't do this or that because it'll do this to ur skon or that to ur skin 😲🙄🙄. Mind blowing. But for me I do the workouts in the morning so when I get up I'm straight into it. So no face wash until after workouts. But I do wash twice a day, as in morning & before bedtime. The morning routine is wash tone & hydrate & moisturise & the bedtime routine is similar, Double wash, Vitamin C Toner, hydrating serum & nighttime moisturiser. Boom done & dusted goodnight & god bless 🙌🤗🤗. It, works for me. Hope u find something ideas on here that will work for u Evie. Beautiful name by the way 👑👑👑❤️❤️❤️

  • @Audrey Browne you really are just a queen b thankyou so much for your response you sound like a skin expert I'm sure you've got fabulous glowy queen skin, am always so greatful for your endless support. It can get very confusing but I'm sure I will figure it out soon. Keep thriving and shining queen and I'll see you tomorrow for our 9:30 workout xx❤️❤️

  • @Evie Linnane oh Queen definitely not an expert I just spoke with one honestly. With working out a lot I was as confused as u. So I decided one day to just sit down with someone & they literally talked me through a proper regime. And so u know what not an expensive one either so that was a bonus. There is some fantastic experts out there. The staff in Boots & Sam McCalueys r is helpful too. Pamper urself Evie u deserve it Queen. 👑👑👑❤️❤️❤️

  • Hi @Evie Linnane! I have been doing so much research this year on what to use and what not to use on my face. I have also been trying to make sure I use cleaner more natural products on my face. I have definitely seen a difference! I usually wash my face in the morning and at night. I am in LA so i do the work outs in the afternoon my time. So I usually just splash my face after. I have tried so many different facewashes as I have sensitive skin and I have found the Youth to the People Superfood cleanser is amazing! I usually use a moisturizer, eye gel and face oil after that. I hope that helps! I am always so curious about what other people do and products they use! 💚

  • @Evie Linnane hello! 😌 I just do mine morning, and double cleanse at night! But I do my work outs in the morning so after I do that I cleanse ect. When I used to (in a previous life now!🤣) Go to the gym I'd wash it and put my spf on first thing because it was day light and then wash again after gym and  do the whole routine then, but I wasn't working out every day so that was only maybe 3 times a week that would happen. I mean it's very hard to know, like Audrey I asked an expert to be honest! I have invested alot of time and money in my skin as I had adult acne (the worst!!!) Hope that sort of helps!! Another idea you could do morning class and if u wanted to cut down on the face washing leave the afternoon class til the evening if that was possible and do your night time routine after?!  I do very little lives I usually am a day behind and catch up next morning ☺️

  • @Evie Linnane I'm prone to spots too and always wait until after my morning workout to do the full face routine. I need a good cleanse because my face gets so sweaty from the spicy workouts!! And I usually have to wait 30 mins after cleansing to moisturize because my face is still on fire 😂😂  for spots, I think skingredients sally cleanse is amazing night time cleanse twice a week! Maybe @Maevemadden can do a Beauty Bullshit Friday on it 😉🙌🏻

  • @Evie Linnane hi 👋I do the same as the girls pretty much - double cleanse am and pm (not always - depends what time and how tired I am!), sometimes exfoliate with lactic or glycolic acid, then vit c (am) or vit a (pm) serum, moisturizer, spf (am). I didn’t have a clue about all this until last year when I had a (virtual) consultation with the skin nerd (sorry - I don’t know if it’s ok to mention names / companies) but they were really helpful and recommended products for my skin that I use now and am happy with. I’ve spent so much money on different products over the years not knowing if they were right for me, some were good, others not suitable at all, that I just wanted to get products that worked! There are some really good skin advice books (Caroline Hirons, Skin Nerd) with loads of useful information - they’re on Instagram too, so you could check them out and see if there are products /routines that they’d recommend, or if you were to do a consultation with a facialist they’d be able to talk you through it. Good luck! 👍
