Training Question | MaeveMadden

Training Question

  • Hi all, I am new and loving all the classes. What I have been doing is mostly the half hour classes, one lower and one upper in the same day from the library Should I be concentrating on one area a time or is it ok to be doing full body each day? Will I get / see the same results?

Thank you for any advise :)

  • Welcome Eimear - I'm only in my second month and enjoying the challenge so far to keep on track.

Fair play for doing upper + lower in one day - I have been trying to do one of each a week on separate days and then one day for a full body/high intensity one like combat queens/spicy circuits.

I guess whatever you feel works best for you and as long as you are resting the muscles as well for recovery.

  • Thank you @Jude H  that sounds like a better plan with the classes.

Im only on my second week so maybe thats why Im a bit over eager 😅. I think maybe Ill take a leaf from your book, one class a day is enough. I have a one year old that keeps me on my toes too!!

  • @Eimear Barry @Jude H hiya Queens so gd to have u on board. With regards to ur posts, it really is a matter of what ur goals r tbh. As u can see from the library there is a huge variety of classes to choose from. My advice to u first is take a look at Maeves blogs post on the main menu page. She has a very good piece in there about what classes are for u. So have a peep at that see if that gives u an idea or helps u in any way. Hopefully it does Queens. 👑👑👑❤️❤️❤️

  • @Eimear Barry hi Eimear, welcome queen woop, delighted to have you here.  So pending on your goals will also depend on the workouts you do.  As audrey suggested we do have a blog post about the workouts but I believe it needs updated to I will do this asap.

If you have just begun, then find the workouts you must enjoy, its ok to do a lower body and an upper body on teh same day or to mix them up.  maybe a lower and a full body but what ever you feel good doing then thats fantastic

  • @Maeve Madden Ill have a look thank you. This is such a positive platform, really enjoying it. Ive had guilt about doing anything for myself since my son was born and Im really making time for my workouts now. So thank you x
